WHITNEY MANSION This magnificent example of simple Victorian architecture is the restored home of George Whitney, who was a major in the 11th Regiment National Guard of Pennsylvania. Old timers remember Major Whitney leading every parade in Honesdale on a snow white charger kept for that purpose in Whitney Bros livery stables. The building is owned by Highlights for Childen.
